Spring is officially here, and the towns across Camden and Burlington County are coming alive. Whether you're a longtime resident or someone just getting to know the area, April is one of the best months to get out and experience what makes South Jersey such a great place to live.

Here's what's happening across the region this month β€” organized by county and sorted by date.

    Camden County

Haddon Township β€” Go Green Drive-Thru Event πŸ“… Saturday, April 11 | 10am–1pm πŸ“ West Park Blvd & Crystal Lake Ave, Westmont

Haddon Township's annual Go Green Drive-Thru is one of the most convenient community events of the year. Pull up and drop off documents for shredding, electronics for e-waste recycling, and unwanted pharmaceuticals for safe disposal β€” all without leaving your car. Haddon Township Police will be on site. Paint and hazardous materials are not accepted, and all items should be placed in your trunk or cargo area for staff to unload. Rain or shine.

Cherry Hill β€” Community Tree Plantings πŸ“… Saturday, April 18 & Sunday, April 26 πŸ“ Various open spaces across Cherry Hill Township

Cherry Hill's Branching Out Tree Initiative is back for 2026. The township is looking for volunteers to help plant trees in open spaces across the community β€” a great way to get outside, do something meaningful, and meet your neighbors. Registration is required. Visit chnj.gov/branchingout to sign up.

Cherry Hill β€” Free Tree Giveaway πŸ“… Friday, April 25 πŸ“ Details at chnj.gov/branchingout

Cherry Hill residents who didn't receive a street tree in 2025 can register to receive one free this year while supplies last. Cherry Hill residents only β€” register in advance through the township website.

Cherry Hill β€” Free Community Shredding & Recycling Day πŸ“… Saturday, April 26 | 10am–2pm πŸ“ Public Works, 1 Perina Blvd, Cherry Hill

Cherry Hill is hosting a free drive-up shredding and recycling day open to all residents. Pull up, drop off your documents, and let the township handle the rest. Residential only β€” no businesses.

Collingswood β€” Clover Market Spring Edition πŸ“… Sunday, April 26 | 10am–4pm πŸ“ Downtown Collingswood, 735 N. Atlantic Ave (near PATCO station)

One of the best outdoor markets in South Jersey returns to downtown Collingswood for its spring edition. Over 100 curated vendors with handmade goods, vintage finds, food trucks, live music, and free kids' crafts β€” all set against the backdrop of one of Camden County's most walkable downtowns. PATCO accessible from the Collingswood stop. Dogs on leash welcome.

If you've never spent a Sunday afternoon in downtown Collingswood, this is the event to start with.

    Burlington County

Delran β€” Spring Festival & Egg Hunt πŸ“… Saturday, April 4 | 1pm–3pm πŸ“ Delran Township

Delran Township kicks off the spring season with a family-friendly Spring Festival and Egg Hunt. A great outing for families with young kids. Visit delrantownship.org for the full location and details.

Moorestown β€” Daffodil Day πŸ“… Saturday, April 18 | 10am–4pm πŸ“ Main Street, Moorestown

One of Burlington County's most beloved spring traditions. Moorestown's Daffodil Day fills Main Street with horse-drawn surrey rides, live music, artisan demonstrations, family activities, and seasonal sales and specials from the borough's independent merchants. Free to attend. Rain or shine β€” no rain date, so keep an eye on the forecast.

If you've never walked Moorestown's Main Street on a spring Saturday, Daffodil Day is the best possible introduction to what makes this town special.
